Ottawa’s Short-Term Rental Bylaw Appealed

The immediate impact, however, is that the city’s short-term rental regime, if it survives legal challenges, might not be implemented for several months or longer.

New zoning bylaws heavily regulating the short-term rental market are being hauled to an appeal tribunal with the hopes that an adjudicator will deliver a win for many homeowners who rely on Airbnb to market their units.
